Post shopping treat, on the way home from the Migros ! The only way to do the weekend.

Camping weekend.

I had a great weekend camping in Iceland. It had been planned for a long time and I was able to fly back from Geneva for the weekend. Very dramatic to run from the office to the airport ( the new on line check in with hand baggage means u more or less walk strainght onto the plane, no hanging around at all ) to London to Iceland and then into rural camping mode with woolly jumpers and inflatable mattress !
We did not have to travel far from Reykjavik to reach the summer house which was right at the edge of the water. It was very relaxing with good company and plenty of good BBQ food. We had fun going for paddling expeditions in the canoe and Sandra was able to go horse back riding with the grown ups. We also dropped into Borgarness to see a the town fete. The kids were captivated by the goat´s kids and the blacksmith ! On the way home we stopped off at the swimming pool for a relax in hte hot pots and a 20 lenght distance swim, for dad and eirikur, which earnt us an icecream... go guys !
