Easter greetings to one and all on this fresh Easter morn ! I know this because the spring sunshine that gently warmed the chocolate easter eggs hidden in the garden this morning has given way to rosy cheeked breeze, perfect for cycling. We are nibbling on exotic chocolate and preparing the house for Eirikur’s birthday brunch tomorrow.
It has only been a week since I returned from Geneva. I had a fine time in Switzerland, but it was also nice to come home. It was nice also to break the journey briefly in Copenhagen and pop in to see the Englandsvej crew. Sandra and Anna greeted me at the airport, which was very lovely.
The Ementaler and viande seche is all eaten up.
I am posting some pictures of a busy Sunday. First we were happy to be invited to celebrate Hjalti´s fermingar. Super party and in the pictures you can see the father and son combo, spruced up and wearing their glasses. Later on in the evening we went to see Sandra perform in the end of term ballet show. This year was an ambitious project to show scenes from the ballet Copellia. Sandra was part of the ensemble and danced in the chorus. A very good show were all the classes were mixed together and had a chance to dance.
